Cee: This was the first song I wrote off the project. MaD hit me up at HHK and said he made some beats for me, so I was psyched. This was one of the first three joints he gave me. I wanted to really capture the vibe I felt in Montreal, let the people know where I'm at and what I've been through on the way here. I hadn't done any tracks about Le Plateau, or MTL in general really, so I had to set it off right. This joint kicked off our sets the entire summer tour, so it's a fave.
lyrics
[Verse 1: Cee]
Yeah, man I know that y'all been waiting on it,
Soulful zone out tunes and y'all escaping on it,
High roller, no smoking, I've been vaping on it,
And y'all appreciate the music coz we staying honest,
Yo the flow ice cold and so I'm skating on it,
So legit, there ain't a homie who be hating on it,

So multilingual motherfuckers stay debating on it,
The LP, them Indie joints had got ya aching for it,
So me and MaD hitting ya with creative raw shit,
And we ain't really have the time to be placating pundits,
So fuck a trend, we doin' us, and never chasing comets,

And for us the focus was never getting rich,
But at least I'm finna live off of the things I spit,

The cycle coming back around, the negative has dipped,
And we just feeding y'all the opposite of weak,
If you see me homie, stop me in the street coz the kid legit
